    Note: This is for plant order add-on only

    Winter is definitely a challenging time of the year for plant shopping. Live plants are just as fragile as any living organisms and can suffer damage due to the cold. I personally have many instances where my plant babies came severely damaged due to inadequate packaging or lack of heat pack.

    We heard you, and now, this problem is no longer yours! PlantTheStudio is offering winter protection guarantees - which means if your plants arrive severely damaged from the cold, we will cover the damage and send you a replacement as long as adequate evidence is provided to us. A free heat pack and insulation material might be added to your package when you purchase this insurance.

    What this covers:
    *Severely* damaged (frozen) plants due to weather conditions from shipping

    What this does not cover:
    Damage to foliage from normal shipping
    Soil/medium spillage
    Unrooted cuttings
    Mishandling by shipping carrier: damaged/crushed shipping box
    Shipping delay

    Instructions for starting a claim:
    You will need to reach out within the 12 hour window after receiving the plant
    You must provide at least 3 pictures demonstrating the condition of the plant
    We will follow up with you as soon as we received the claim

    Note - This includes, but not limited to, using heat packs, special packing procedures, shipping on specific days.

    This insurance is for one order only and not refundable. This insurance does not apply to the following states: Wyoming, Alaska, Minnesota, Maine, North Dakota due to extremely cold local temperature.

    - When your plant arrives, avoid placing it in direct or very bright light.

    - Please allow your plant to acclimate to its new environment and wait at least 3-4 weeks before repotting.

    - We recommend that you research care needs for your plant.

    Return Policy

    All live plants sales are final

    If your plant arrived dead or in a very poor condition, email us at support@plantthestudio.com within 12 hours of receipt, with photos showing the condition. 

    If you have any issues with your tissue culture plantlet upon receiving your order, please don’t open the bag and contact us immediately. Once you open the tissue culture bag, it indicates that you have started the acclimation process, and we cannot be held responsible for any issues that may arise thereafter, as it is beyond our control.

    We strive to offer the lowest prices in the market, but we urge you to thoroughly research how to care for the plants. If you’re not familiar with rooting or acclimating them, it’s advisable to purchase rooted plants. Please be aware that we do not assume responsibility beyond 12 hours after you receive the package. This is not an experimental project where failure guarantees a refund.

    Shipping Policy

    We do our best preparing your plants for shipment so they will arrive at your home healthily. However, browning may develop on the variegated leaves during shipping since the variegated leaves don't photosynthesize and they are very fragile, this is something out of our control. With proper care, the plant will recover and will not affect the future growth. We do not accept return for minor/cosmetic damage on plant.

    Standard shipping insurance is included with USPS priority mail, additional insurance could be purchased separately.
